How To Use: Rahua Shampoos


If you haven’t used natural, plant-based hair care like Rahua before, we always recommend double cleansing as a first step.

Double cleansing is what it sounds like, cleansing twice. The first wash clings to dirt and oils in your hair and scalp, while the following second wash applies product directly onto your clean hair.

If you have drier, coarser hair or find that the lather is sufficient enough in the first wash, stick to just one. We recommend double cleansing at least once a week to clarify and cleanse any build up from any styling products, water hardiness and pollutants.

Step 1

Start with a small amount of shampoo and massage directly into your scalp - depending on the level of dirt and oil, there may not be a large lather in this first wash.

Step 2

After rinsing completely, use an even smaller amount of shampoo and repeat the first step. You’ll see a lather forming, you are now directly infusing your strands with plant-powered botanicals and oils.

Step 3

Do a final rinse of the lather and then proceed to use your conditioner. Squeeze excess water out of your hair first to help the product absorb into the hair shaft. Leave in for five minutes and then rinse out.
